| 01.2007 It appears that I, in a stroke of brilliance, mis-pasted the same IP addresses into both of our core routers. This caused an effective bridging loop as both of our routers fought for the ip address. This pegged their CPUs and the uplink between them. We have removed the offending IP addresses and the system seems to have recovered. This was a problem for approximately the previous hour and 15 minutes, ending at 1:30PM Pacific time. 02.2007 We’re upgrading the network very soon so that we can alleviate the network slowness we’ve been experiencing. We’ve already transitioned most of the customers in our second facility over to the new network hardware, but we’ll be switching over to the new BEEFY cross-connect into our main facility shortly.
